Secretary of Beijing municipal committee of CPC Liu Qi, and deputy secretary and mayor Guo Jinlong came to Haidian District in the morning of May 29 to conduct a special study centered on the theme of "changing the mode of economic development and pushing ahead with the co nstruction of the national independent innovation demonstration zone of Zhongguancun". They mainly inspected Founder Electronics' "Founder digital inkjet printer project" that is currently being developed and gradually being oriented towards the market. Liu Qi stressed the need to vigorously support the research & development and production of projects with independent intellectual property rights to bring together more innovative talented persons and promote the industrialization of major technological achievements in Beijing to make greater contribution to comprehensively improving the quality and efficiency of economic development of the capital and accelerating the construction of a humanistic Beijing, a high-tech Beijing and a green Beijing.

At the "Founder digital inkjet printer project site" in Shangdi, Liu Qi and Guo Jinlong among others thoroughly inquired about the research and development of digital inkjet printer. Board chairman of Founder Group Wei Xin, director of Founder Group Zhang Xuanlong, vice president of Founder Group Liu Xiaokun and other leaders accompanied Liu Qi in the inspection and introduced in detail the technological leadership of "Founder digital inkjet printer" at home and its future potential for market application.
Since the initiation of the "Founder digital inkjet printer" project in 2005, along with the major efforts devoted to research and development and remarkable technological advances, the fifth generation model of EagleJet has been developed. The inspection at Founder Electronics conducted by secretary Liu Qi, deputy secretary and mayor Guo Jinlong and other leaders will no doubt have a direct and positive impact on market-oriented transformation of "digital printer inkjet ". Digital printing is the main form of future printing technology. It eliminates links such as film output, makeup, plate burning and proofing, supports direct connection with computers, real-time computing, transmission and control in carrying out printing and post-printing processing, and can thus implement integrated real-time printing and variable data printing. Inkjet digital printing represents the future development direction of international mainstream digital printing technology. Founder digital inkjet printer represents the highest level of technology in this field at home. Founder Electronics is the only enterprise engaging in research and development of inkjet digital printing technology at home. Through unremitting devotion and the research and development team's assiduous efforts to tackle key problems, the enterprise has developed the 5th generation prototype to narrow the gap between China's digital printing technology and the international level.
So far applications have been filed for more than 100 invention patents and more than 20 international innovation patents for Founder "EagleJet", which won the China Patent Gold Award of 2009 and meets the conditions for industrial application.
Upon learning that, Liu Qi said delightedly that in the process of building Beijing into a world-class metropolis, we need to vigorously develop the green printing industry and strive to build a printing center characterized by high and new technologies, which calls for not only the development of green plate making technology, but also the development of plateless printing technology. He hoped that Founder would further enhance cooperation with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beiren Printing Machinery Holdings Limited and other relevant organizations and strengthens efforts to tackle key technical problems to facilitate industrial application of major scientific and technological achievements in Beijing; give full play to its advantages to help traditional printing enterprises upgrade their technology and accelerate development; pay attention to converting high and new technologies into civilian use and further expand the market by starting from areas such as research and development of digital camera photo printing equipment to make greater contribution to expediting the construction of a humanistic Beijing, a high-tech Beijing and a green Beijing.
